Valley Trail Chestnut Ale

Valley Trail Chestnut Ale

Valley Trail Chesnut Ale

by Whistler Brewing Company (brewery website) – Article available in both English and French

Origin: Canada – Type: Aromatised Amber/Red – Alcohol: 5%

The beer: The fizziness of an Ale paired with a strong taste of chestnuts. The nose is full of aromas of caramel, maple syrup and chestnut. The finish develops a sweet taste but remains light. Colour is dark and the foam is white and light. A sweet beer which goes very well as a beer which is great to savour – a real “trip” to Canada, only the Poutine dish is missing !!

The little extra: If you like Canada, maple syrup and chestnut, your needs are met !

Where we bought it: A beer kindly offered by friends after their trip to Canada – lucky guys… They bought it after their visit of the brewery and told me it was awesome and worth the visit… to be added to your itinerary if you are in the area !
