Origin: Scotland – Type: Saison/India Pale Ale – Alcohol: 6.5%
The beer: Electric India is an interesting beer, which is a cross between a Belgian Saison and an IPA. It’s brewed with orange peel, honey and crushed black peppercorns. I couldn’t detect much of the orange peel, but the peppercorns certainly made a welcome appearance in the aftertaste. It’s a tasty and hoppy IPA with that little bit extra to make it stand out from the crowd.
The little extra: This beer is a community brew. It was co-created by 7000 BrewDog shareholders and 200 brewers. This makes it a very unique beer!
Where we bought it: Brewdog’s bottle shop in King’s Cross. They have a great range of craft beer bottles.
